theatrical_muse project. A fiction writing/roleplaying group. So this isn't actually her,(I'd like to think that'd be obvious but you never know..) nor is it meant to be offensive.
Mary Magdalen is a character from the christian bible, one of the core group of disciples, and one of the only women to be referred to as part of that inner circle. SHe's long been a fascinating and controversial character.
I'm going with a mixture of canon and "fanon". So this Mary is pictured with red hair in her icon. She's the patron saint of reformed sex industry workers and hair dressers. She is also said to give aid to pregnant women and bless marriages.
If there are any other muses who share a past with Jesus and have back stories worked out, I'm certainly willing to adjust to accomodate that.
I'll roleplay, Mary is quite friendly, if a bit opinionated and emotional. Comments from non TM members are welcome as long as they aren't flames. Flames will not be responded to at all.
I refer to her as "Miriam" when I'm writing the flashbacks, because that's her real name. I try to stick with Hebrew names and vague attempts at Hebrew spelling, but sometimes I don't. It depends on what I know and how I feel and how much time I have to worry about details. Sometimes I can't do either, so if you see some huge, glaring error, you can let me know nicely and I'll see if it can be fixed.
